I’m proud to announce another patent where I am a named inventor has been issued by the US Patent Office. This is patent 11011258 – Systems and methods for data processing and performing structured and configurable data compression.

That is a long name, but essentially the invention patented relates to novel methods for encoding and compressing medical data. The challenge we were solving was that we needed to store detailed patient data on tiny storage devices, like NFC chips. So I came up with a method to compress the data in a unique way such that we could store an entire patient’s medical record in something as small as an 8 KB NFC chip.
